8. th International Conference SCHOOLS & MUSEUMS

From the very beginning, it has been our idea to have an annual conference gathered teachers and educators on one and museum pedagogues/curators onthe other side with the aim of mutual exchange of views and goodpractices regardng the preparation and execution of children's visits to a museum or gallery.This unique conference will therefore be aimed at educators fromkindergartens and teachers/professors from schools (at all levels of education)and museum pedagogues or curators and gallerists, as well as archivists and librarians.

We invite all the mentioned profiles either to active participation with their expertsor scientific papers, evaluations, demonstrations of good practice,poster presentations or simply ("passive") participation. More detailedinterested parties will receive additional instructions for active participants.

At the conference - as before - four thematic sections are planned,within which contributions will be classified:

A. Curricula and museums (links and analyzes at the level of learning objectives,contents, methods and forms of work,the importance of tacit knowledge, experientiallearning, constructivism, ...)

B. Cross-curricular connection (correlation) in schools and museums (connections at the level of learning objectives and content, upgrading knowledge, ...)

C. Museums and identity formation (personal, local and nationalidentity, personality development, ...)

D. Modern museum-pedagogical approaches and peculiaritiesmuseum-pedagogical didactics
